The red line notification for typos and how it wants to destroy my life

One of my pet peeves is to have the little red underlined notification stay on my screen for more than a minute when my computer alerts me of a typo. In general, I correct my mistake immediately to deter myself from developing a twitch from annoyance due to the distracting red nuissance in my world.

However, due to my Advanced Spanish Grammar course, I was forced to change my laptop from English to Spanish so that I don’t get points taken off for not using accents of things of the sort on my homework assignments. Now, I cannot change my computer back to English.

So, this is what my Word documents look like now:

The red lines of hate

I hope you can imagine my predicament.

  1. Hah..Oh how I know what you are feeling. I had the same thing with French! 🙂

  2. Howdy Jessie,

My name is Eric. I’m moving down to Silver Spring, MD to pursue an internship with the Discovery Channel — barring another lunatic environmentalist doesn’t try to destroy the building. Do you have any advice for a new, slightly overwhelmed intern? It would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks
